Hello.

We're one step (or like one day) closer to April and before the day ends, here are my March's favorites!

Favorite songs of the month.

STRAY KIDS - You Can STAY

N.Flying - Color

Official Hige Dandism - I Love...

Favorite artist of the month.

ITZY

I've been a fan of them since their debut, but somehow after this comeback, they gave an entirely different impression towards me. Their songs just keep getting better and better, as well as their choreography which was very hard to follow this time (believe me, I tried). I often forgot that they're so young, even way younger than I am but they give me these 'unnie' vibes every time I see them hahaha. They are that confident. I can't wait to see more of them in the future!

Favorite drama of the month.

Love Lasts Forever / An Incurable Case Of Love (2020)

This is the drama that, if compared to food, has all the flavours in it. This drama has just had everything you need―the right doses of romance, comedy, and drama. I really love the flow of the drama, and considering that it was based on a shoujo manga, I expected it to be cliche and cringy (I have no complaints tho) but I was dead wrong. I was amazed by everyone’s character development―especially Sakura Nanase. I love how Nanase managed to open Kairi’s heart, not just to her, but to the people around him. Their chemistry is so powerful that everyone has begun speculating about their relationship in real life.

By far, this is one of the best J-dramas I've ever seen in my entire life. I love it so much and I’m definitely going to return to it again, again, and again.

Favorite actor of the month.

Satoh Takeru

If he's not this month's favorite actor, then I don't know who is. I've seen plenty of works from him, without knowing who he really was and I just thought that he was just another actor (sorry!). I realized that he's one of the most versatile actors I've ever known. He delivers what he needs to, and he's very great at it. And I still can't get over his character in KoiTsudu which is the fact that he uses his low voice rather than his own natural voice to become Tendo Kairi. I'm so in love with him that my whole explore tab on Instagram is now full of his faces hjahsjahsja.

He's definitely in my top 3 Japanese actor list and I'm looking forward to seeing more of his works in the future!

So that's it for March's favorites!
Peace.

  1. I do agree Takeru Satoh is a good versatile actor. I like him a lot in 'Kanojo wa Uso o Aishisugiteru'! Cannot get over from the osts for months!

  2. Looking forward to finish my March Favourite because I always post mine on the month after it so I can compile it thoroughly.
I never see/watch any J-Drama before and when you said it's not cringey like you expected it to be, I'll put this drama in my to-watch list because why not try something new right?

Anyway, cheers to April, one of my favourite month and season.

    1. You definitely should! I've had my fair share of extremely cringy shoujo dramas all these years and I can safely say that although it had some weird moments here and there, it still managed to deliver the message. Even if you do feel cringy at some parts, I think you can still brush it off since it's not the main focus of the story. It is beyond that. I hope you watch it and maybe someday, you can tell my what you think! ^^

  3. Takeru will always be my favourite !!!!

Time sure flies and I didn't know march would be so hectic and historical with the Covid-19 attacking the world.
it's not only us but around the world. it feels surreal but it's real.
